SERA marine Protein Skimmer

Powerful and energy-saving skimmer for the cabinet under the aquarium (also for the filter tank).
Skimmers are at the heart of filtration in saltwater aquariums. They remove proteins (albumin) that are constantly released into the water by microorganisms, invertebrates and fish. Efficient and energy-efficient, skimmers remove particles and suspended matter and aerate the aquarium.

Extremely small and space-saving, the sera marin Protein Skimmer PS 130 is one of the smallest protein skimmers available and ideal for nano aquariums up to 130 litres. Like the slightly larger sera marin Protein Skimmer PS 200, it has an energy-saving dispersion pump integrated into the device housing, which independently draws in air and mixes it with the aquarium water. Both devices can be easily attached to the inside of the aquarium using a height-adjustable mounting clamp. The air flow and water flow are easily adjustable.

The sera marin Protein Skimmer 400 HO is suitable for aquariums up to 400 litres and can be used flexibly. It can be used both in a backpack version (hang on skimmer) and in an under-aquarium filter (sump). It is therefore ideally suited for all aquarists who want to switch from a freshwater to a saltwater aquarium.

The larger sera marin Protein Skimmer 600 S for the under-aquarium filter (also the filter sump) is easy to use and suitable for aquariums up to 600 litres.
