Red or very fast-growing aquatic plants have a particularly high requirement for iron. This is why iron deficiencies are common in heavily planted and brightly lit aquariums. However, aquatic plants need iron to develop all their colours and for healthy growth.
The new sera flore 2 ferro system fertilizer was specially developed for this purpose. It provides the plants with sufficient iron and thus promotes colour development.
The special feature of the new sera flore 2 ferro iron fertilizer is its long availability. In many aquariums, UV-C water clarifiers are used, which quickly damage normal iron complexes. As a result, the iron is only available for a very short time in a form available to plants.
This is not the case with sera flore 2 ferro. The use of specially chelated iron guarantees long availability over several days. sera flore 2 ferro is free of nitrates and phosphates and is well tolerated by all invertebrates.
