The sera LED adapters allow sera LED X-Change Tubes to be easily mounted into existing T5 or T8 fluorescent tube sockets.
Often, the lengths of fluorescent tubes vary slightly from supplier to supplier. This can lead to problems when installing with rigid connectors. For this reason, the sera LED adapters were developed.
The tubes are not rigidly connected to the adapter, but are plugged into it. Thus, the position can still be moved and the total length shortened or extended. This leeway allows for simple and flexible mounting of the LED tubes in the aquarium cover.
