Some fish species (e.g. discus and angelfish) are adapted to very soft water and require this condition, especially for reproduction. However, keeping other fish species can also lead to too high a carbonate hardness (KH) of the water or an excessive increase in the pH value due to natural metabolic processes.
In these cases, sera pH/KH-minus provides reliable and rapid assistance. The pH and KH are immediately lowered and precisely regulated. Species-appropriate maintenance conditions are thus created, which contributes significantly to the vitality and well-being of the fish.
Advice :
To maintain tropical freshwater conditions sustainably, adjust the KH to 4 °dKH with sera pH/KH-minus and then place sera super peat in the filter.
