The sera UV-C systems are universal, particularly efficient and suitable for use in ponds and aquariums.

UV-C light does not exist on Earth, it is pure space radiation. No organism has therefore been able to adapt to this hard radiation during evolution, neither pathogens (bacteria, viruses, fungi), nor parasites, nor the propagation stages of filamentous algae. UV-C systems take advantage of this situation and improve the living conditions and health of aquarium animals through their use in/at the filtration level. Bacterial water disorders and green water in the pond are effectively eliminated.

These systems briefly irradiate the water passing through them with UV-C radiation. The devices have a UV-C emitting lamp, protected by a high-quality quartz glass tube and surrounded by the water to be irradiated. The water enters the device through one connection and exits through the opposite connection. The multi-adapters allow different pipe diameters to be connected. The particularly effective PL-UV-C lamp is easy to replace. The end pieces with pipe connections are rotatable, which keeps the connected pipes as short as possible.

The systems are available in different sizes to suit all needs (see table). They are connected by a hose to a pump of appropriate power. The UV-C systems are equipped with very low energy consumption lamps and environmentally friendly electronic ballasts.
